“When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you.” – Isaiah 43:2 (NIV)

Storms are a part of life. Some come suddenly—unexpected loss, financial strain, family conflict. Others build slowly—discouragement, doubt, spiritual dryness. But one thing is certain:

You don’t face the storm alone.

God never promised we wouldn’t face hard things. But He did promise to be with us in the middle of them.

When the disciples were caught in a storm, Jesus didn’t prevent the wind—He calmed it. When Paul faced shipwreck, Jesus didn’t remove the storm—He delivered him through it. When you face your own storm, Jesus may not always take it away—but He will never leave your side.

He is your anchor when the waves rise. He is your shelter when the wind roars. He is your peace when your heart is overwhelmed.

How to Hold On in the Storm:

✅ Speak God's Word—remind yourself of His promises.

✅ Stay connected—don’t isolate, press into community.

✅ Keep worshiping—even when it’s hard, praise shifts the atmosphere.

✅ Trust His presence—He’s closer than you feel.

Storms may test your faith, but they also reveal your foundation. And when you’re anchored in Christ, no storm can shake what He’s built in you.

Prayer: Lord, thank You that You are with me in every storm. Even when the winds of life rage, You are my peace and protector. Help me to trust You, hold onto Your Word, and walk forward in faith. In Jesus’ name, amen.
