“See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.” – Isaiah 43:19 (NIV)
Wilderness seasons are real.
Seasons where things feel dry. Seasons where direction seems unclear. Seasons where prayers feel unanswered and strength feels low.
But here’s the truth: God does some of His best work in the wilderness.
When the Israelites wandered for 40 years, God still provided. When Jesus was led into the wilderness, it became the place of power and preparation. When you find yourself in your own wilderness, God is not absent—He’s active.
He’s making a way. Even when you can’t see it. He’s providing streams of grace, strength, and wisdom in places that feel barren.
Wilderness doesn’t mean you’re lost—it may mean God is leading.
What to Remember in the Wilderness:
✅ Don’t mistake silence for absence – God is still speaking.
✅ Don’t rely on feelings—stand on His promises.
✅ Don’t rush the process—God is refining something deep in you.
✅ Watch for the new thing – God may be redirecting you, not rejecting you.
When everything around you feels uncertain, cling to the certainty of God’s Word. When you feel stuck, believe that He’s making a new path—even through the desert.
Your wilderness might just be the pathway to your next breakthrough.
Prayer: Lord, help me to trust You even in the wilderness. I believe You are doing a new thing, even if I can’t yet see it. Strengthen me to walk by faith and not by sight. Let Your living water refresh my spirit and guide my steps. In Jesus’ name, amen.
