“Do whatever He tells you.” – John 2:5 (NIV)
Sometimes we wait for the big moment—the open door, the spotlight, the obvious sign from heaven. But more often than not, God moves through the small, quiet yes.
The yes to pray when no one else will. The yes to forgive, even when it’s hard. The yes to serve, even when it’s unseen.
Throughout Scripture, we see how powerful a simple “yes” can be:
A young boy said yes and offered his lunch—and Jesus fed 5,000.
Peter said yes and cast his net again—and caught more than he could carry.
Mary said yes to the angel—and carried the Savior of the world.
God isn’t asking for perfection. He’s asking for permission.
When we say yes, we open the door for God to move in ways we could never imagine. Our yes becomes someone else’s miracle. Our obedience becomes a path for God’s glory to be revealed.
How to Live a Life of Yes:
✅ Start small—respond to the Holy Spirit’s nudge in the moment.
✅ Trust God with the outcome—even if you don’t understand it yet.
✅ Keep your heart open and your hands willing.
✅ Don’t wait to feel ready—just be available.
You don’t need to know the full plan. You just need to say yes to the next step.
Prayer: Lord, I may not always understand what You’re doing, but I want to be part of it. Help me to say yes to You today—in the little things and the big. Use my obedience to bring glory to Your name and impact the lives of those around me. In Jesus’ name, amen.
