“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.” – Romans 8:28 (NIV)
Pain is something we all face. Sometimes it’s physical, sometimes emotional, and often spiritual. In those moments of heartbreak, disappointment, or loss, it's easy to ask: “Where is God in all of this?”
The truth? He’s right there with you.
Not watching from a distance. Not indifferent to your tears. But present, active, and working—even in the pain.
God never wastes a hurt. The pain you’re walking through is not the end of your story—it may actually be the place where healing begins, strength grows, and purpose is birthed.
Joseph was betrayed by his brothers, falsely accused, and forgotten in prison. Yet, in the end, he looked at his past and declared, “What you meant for evil, God meant for good.” (Genesis 50:20)
That same God is working in your story too.
What to Remember When You’re in Pain:
✅ God sees you – Every tear is known to Him (Psalm 56:8)
✅ God is with you – He is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18)
✅ God is for you – His plans are still good (Jeremiah 29:11)
✅ God will use it – Even this, for your growth and His glory
Your pain has a purpose. It may not be clear today, but one day, you’ll look back and see how God never left your side—and how He used even the hardest moments to shape something beautiful.
Prayer: Lord, in the moments I don’t understand, help me to trust You. Remind me that You are with me in the pain, and that You are working all things for my good. Give me strength, peace, and hope in every season. In Jesus’ name, amen.
