“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” – Psalm 119:105
Wouldn’t it be easier if God gave us the whole blueprint upfront?
If we could see exactly where we’re going…If we knew how long the wait would be…If we could skip the uncertainty and jump straight to the promise…
But God doesn’t lead with a floodlight. He leads with a lamp.
One step at a time.
Why? Because He’s not just guiding your path—He’s shaping your heart. He wants trust, not just direction. Faith, not just foresight.
Abraham obeyed without knowing where he was going. Peter stepped out of the boat without knowing if he’d sink. Mary said yes to carrying the Savior without knowing how it would all unfold.
God gave just enough light for the next step—and it was enough.
Maybe today, you don’t need the full map. Just the next move.
✅ Maybe your next step is to forgive.
✅ Maybe it’s to give generously, even when it stretches you.
✅ Maybe it’s to rest, even when your mind says hustle.
✅ Maybe it’s just to say, “Yes, Lord,” before you see the why.
Faith isn’t about having it all figured out. It’s about following the One who already does.
Prayer: Lord, I may not see the whole road ahead, but I trust You. Help me to walk in step with Your Word and Your Spirit. I don’t need all the answers—I just need to stay close to You. Lead me one step at a time. Amen.
