When You Feel Like You’re Not Enough

“But He said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness.’” – 2 Corinthians 12:9 (NIV)

We’ve all been there.

That moment when you look at your life, your past, your struggles—and wonder, “Am I really enough?”

Not strong enough. Not holy enough. Not good enough.

But here’s the truth: God never asked you to be enough. He asks you to trust that He is.

Moses didn’t feel qualified to speak. Gideon didn’t feel brave enough to lead. Peter failed when it mattered most.

Yet God used them all—not because they were perfect, but because they were willing.

God doesn’t call the qualified. He qualifies the called. He doesn’t expect perfection—He looks for surrender. And in your weakness, His strength shines the brightest.

When you feel inadequate, remember:

God chose you knowing your flaws.

He’s not surprised by your struggles.

He delights in showing His power through your surrender.

Your identity is found in Christ, not your performance.

You are not enough on your own—but with Him, you have everything you need.

Prayer: Lord, thank You that I don’t have to be perfect to be used by You. When I feel like I’m not enough, remind me that Your grace is more than enough. Help me to rest in Your strength and say yes to Your purpose. In Jesus’ name, amen.
